Intimate Countryside Festival Wedding

We recently planned an incredibly special and meaningful festival wedding vow renewal celebration for Joanna and Mathew. After years of blissful marriage, they wanted to renew their commitment to each other in an intimate, relaxed countryside setting surrounded by their closest family and friends.

They chose their private home with rolling green hills as the backdrop for their unique and creative celebration.With 6 weeks of planning together, Joanna and Mathew's festival wedding vision came to life with the help of our meticulous planning and attention to detail. 

We wanted to transform their venue to feel like a mini festival, so we added pops of colour into  their book arch and floral arrangements to create a unique and colorful festival-themed wonderland. From playful multi-coloured flags to fairy lights and romantic flower displays, this whimsical and relaxed vow renewal had it all!

To bring the festival vibe to life throughout the day, we incorporated playful decor touches throughout the event such as stripy deck chairs, colourful bunting and hay bales for seating. Large outdoor lawn games brought the fun and competitive side out of their guests whilst sipping on cocktails. One of the highlights for our couple was the colour explosion created by smoke cannons for a full festive vibe photo opportunity!  

As a wedding planner, I have planned many weddings in a variety of locations, but I especially love creating outdoor celebrations like Joanna and Mathew's countryside festival wedding. Tipis and marquees are the perfect addition to outdoor weddings as they add charm and a beautiful space for the reception and evening celebrations.
